WLF inducts new member into Hall of Fame

The Wisconsin Landscape Federation (WLF) has inducted Matthew M. Stano, founder and president of Stano Landscaping, Inc., into the WLF Hall of Fame. The WLF Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have been cited by their peers for their dedication and lifetime achievements in the Green Industry.


Stano has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Metro Milwaukee Chapter of the Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association (WLCA) for 10 years and its president from 1978-79. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the WLF and served as its president from 1987-89.


Stano has also been a director in the WLCA state organization and was honored by the Milwaukee Chapter with an Outstanding Service Award for his 15 years of service on the Board of Directors. He now is president of the WLCA Professional Landscape Scholarship Fund, a separate corporation he helped to establish. This fund provides scholarships to students who have a sincere desire to pursue or continue their careers in the Green Industry.
