Zinc/air fuel cells power greensmower

Metallic Power, a Carlsbad, Calif. Based company that has been developing zinc/air fuel cells, demonstrated a prototype riding greensmower at a recent meeting South Coast Air Quality Management District meeting in southern California. Metallic Power partnered with Toro Co. to develop the prototype, which produces zero emissions and quiet operation. A 2 Kw generator also was demonstrated at the meeting.
