U.S. Military Awards Contract To Case Construction Equipment
Case Construction Equipment, a brand of CNH, has been awarded its second U.S. military contract this year, this time by TACOM (Tank, Automotive and Armaments Command) to refurbish almost 100 MW24C wheel loaders for the Army.
The goal of this program is to repair these machines on a quick-turn basis for deployment to Southwest Asia. The wheel loaders will be refurbished according to U.S. Army RESET standards, meaning that they will be returned to fully operational condition. After a complete inspection, damaged or worn parts will be repaired or replaced as necessary and the machines restored to fully mission-capable Army standards. Case will provide a six-month warranty on all replaced parts.

"This agreement takes further advantage of the partnership already established between the military and Case," said Robin Killian, vice president of Case Construction Equipment.
Case is actively pursuing other opportunities with the Military, which provide considerable cost savings and make use of existing capacity on military bases to the mutual benefit of the Military, Case and taxpayers.
