Plants At Work Green Industry Marketing Campaign Announces New Director
Dick Ott, former director of the Plants at Work ALCA Task Force and national campaign and director of Symbiot's Interior Landscape Network, recently announced that McRae Anderson has been selected to officially assume the role as the industry-wide marketing programs' director, effective immediately.
In addition to coordinating responses for the USGBC's public comment periods, advocating for LEED credit points for interior plants, Plants at Work has two national end-user presentations scheduled for October and November. Original white papers and research overviews will be given 'stage time' at the U.S. Green Building Council's GreenBuild Expo in Portland and at the International Facility Managers Associations, World Workplace. Valued at over four million dollars worth of exposure, the PR program has secured over 133 million media impressions including CNN, Scripps Howard News Service and United Press International and has strategically positioned the core message in top end-user publications.
McRae is currently looking for six development captains to help him in the program funding oversight. Under his new development strategy, two Captains from each sector of the industry will be selected to implement development objectives within their region.
