Scag Powering Pheasants
Pheasants Forever (PF) announces Scag Power Equipment as the organization's newest national sponsor. The Mayville, Wis.-based company will also be a sponsor of PF's National Pheasant Fest coming to the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines Jan. 19-21, 2007.
"Scag employees and Scag customers care about the outdoors and wildlife. Many are Pheasants Forever members as well," reported Chris Frame, manager of marketing and technology for Scag Power Equipment. "Scag is proud to be a national sponsor of Pheasants Forever, an organization that has done so many wonderful things for conservation across this great country of ours."
"This partnership between Pheasants Forever and Scag Power Equipment is a great fit for both organizations," explained Greg Emerick, PF's director of corporate sales. "People who love to spend time outdoors have a common complaint; there is never enough time to enjoy the wonders of nature. Scag mowers can give you more time to pursue your passion for the outdoors by cutting your mowing time in half when compared to ordinary yard tractors. Less time spent mowing means more time to do the things you really want to do, like work on local conservation projects and hunt pheasants."
Scag has signed on to be a sponsor and exhibitor at PF's National Pheasant Fest 2007 in Des Moines. National Pheasant Fest combines a consumer show, habitat seminar series, and family event complete with puppies, power equipment, shotguns and art. The 2007 Fest promises to be the country’s largest event for upland hunters, sport dog owners, and wildlife habitat conservationists. The 2005 Pheasant Fest, which was held in Omaha, Neb., was attended by 24,205 people. This January's Des Moines event looks to attract 25,000 attendees as well. Cabela's is the Fest's title sponsor.
