Project EverGreen Reports Broad Range of Support from All Areas of the Green Industry

Project EverGreen continues to receive strong backing for its mission to educate consumers on the importance of preserving and enhancing green spaces. In announcing second quarter contributions to the national non-profit organization, Den Gardner, Project EverGreen’s executive director, said, “It is gratifying to see that we are gaining such broad participation from all areas of the green industry.”

To illustrate this, Gardner announced 18 second quarter additions to Project EverGreen’s contributor list. They include: Arysta LifeScience, Atwood LawnCare, Inc., Bayer Crop Services, Dan Carrothers, Faddegon’s Nursery, Inc., Debra Holder, Hunter Industries, Inc., Jacobsen, William Klutho, Chris Kujawa, Land-Tech Enterprises, Inc., Lawn Doctor, John Marchionda, Nufarm Americas, Inc., Ohio Lawn Care Association, Precision Laboratories, Inc., Syngenta Crop Protection and The Greenery, Inc.

According to Gardner, this makes a total of 54 individuals, companies and associations who have already signed on to support Project EverGreen in 2006. “This is on track with 2005,” he said, “But it is vital that we gain additional support to expand our consumer education efforts. Anyone who has an interest in helping focus on the positive benefits healthy landscapes and other green spaces provide should contact me at (877) 758-4835 or visit our Web site www.projectevergreen.com.”
