Rain Bird recently announced that Geo Gatev is the new Golf Area Manager for Japan and Korea. Gatev will be joining Tomio Sakamoto in the Rain Bird International, Japan office.

Gatev joins Rain Bird after working with Bavarian Photonics Ltd as Asia Pacific Manager for Technology and Business Development. Gatev holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stanford University. He is fluent in Japanese, Spanish, English, Russian and his native Bulgarian.
