Rain Bird Golf announces Kerry Barnett as its new marketing manager. Barnett is responsible for marketing communications and sustaining product management for the golf division.

Barnett has a wealth of experience in marketing, new business development, product management and operations. Prior to joining Rain Bird, Barnett was product management director for Guardian Industries and worked in global marketing and business development for BASF Performance Polymers and Honeywell International. Barnett also spent several years working with the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences where he led projects to advance manufacturing technology in joint industry-government collaboration efforts.

Barnett earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering metallurgy from Western Michigan. He also received an MBA from the University of Michigan. He is based out of Rain Bird’s Tucson, Ariz., office.
