Reinders’ 17th Turf & Irrigation Conference Features Racing Theme
Reinders has announced they will return to the Waukesha Expo Center in suburban Milwaukee, WI for their 17th Turf & Irrigation Conference, March 16-17, 2005. Show hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. The theme of the show is “Racing for the Green.” Attendees will enjoy auto racing related activities and door prize drawings throughout both days.
A world-class program of more than 40 seminars is scheduled. A partial list of guest speakers and topics includes: Ken Mrock, Head Groundskeeper for the Chicago Bears will give “An Inside Look at the Renovation of Soldier Field;” Dr. Wayne Kussow of the University of Wisconsin-Madison will explain “Making Sense of Soil Analysis;” Dave Louttit of The Andersons will speak about “New Fertilizer Technology for the 21st Century;” Warren Thoma of Thoma & Associates is scheduled to offer “Insights into Professional Water Gardens;” Mark Painter from The Toro Company is heading a seminar about “Residential/Commercial Irrigation Design;” Pat Jones, publisher of Golfdom magazine will provide his views and ideas about the state of the golf industry and Dr. Joe Vargas of Michigan State University will talk about current research and recommendations for turfgrass management issues.
Reinders has hosted this show every other year since 1973. It brings together nationally known speakers, enlightening seminars and a variety of industry manufacturers all in one place. Many of the exhibitors will be offering show specials and product early buy programs for attendees. There is something for everyone.
