Seminar Approved For CEUs
The Golf Course Superintendentís Association of America (GCSAA) recently approved an educational program titled Seashore Paspalum: An Update on Performance for .10 GCSAA educational points or CEUs.
The program, presented by Michael N. Vanatta, international sales director for Environmental Turf, focuses on the uses, benefits and maintenance characteristics of Seashore Paspalum.
The program includes a PowerPoint presentation, question-and-answer period and the opportunity for those in attendance to receive a free copy of Suggestions for the Care of Seashore Paspalum, a book on the maintenance of the grass.
Seashore Paspalum is a warm-season turfgrass. Its environmentally-friendly characteristics including low water usage, tolerance of poor quality irrigation sources and low nitrogen requirements, make this a timely presentation sure to be of interest.
