Shindaiwa announces the appointment of Tom Gile as Supply Chain Manager. The basic charter of the Shindaiwa Supply Chain system is to meet customer’s demands and expectations through improved focus and elimination of production waste with an emphasis on material velocity.

Gile has 15 years experience in forecasting, planning, purchasing, logistics and lean management. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Operations Management from Oregon State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Portland State University. His primary role at Shindaiwa is to bring about continuing improvements with the supply chain functions. This will involve improving the accuracy and timeliness of all related information including forecasting, order processing, production and inventory planning.
