Shindaiwa Joins Forces with TruGreen and Symbiot

Shindaiwa Inc. recently announced that it has entered into a “National Account Program and Agreement” with The TruGreen Companies, Memphis, and an agreement with the Symbiot Business Group, Draper, Utah, to supply handheld equipment.

“TruGreen and Shindaiwa are mutually committed to performance and productivity, as well as product safety and user comfort. We plan to team up to develop product enhancements that benefit landscape professionals and green industry customers everywhere,” said Mike Nichols, vice president, marketing and business development for Shindaiwa.

Rick Ascolese, president of TruGreen Landscape said, “Shindaiwa was awarded the contract as our professional supplier for handheld equipment after an exhaustive and rigorous 6-month evaluation process, which included 90-day field trials in four diverse regions of the country. The equipment proved itself under harsh and demanding professional use.”

“Symbiot is looking for ways to reduce expenses for their member companies while increasing productivity. A key reason Symbiot selected Shindaiwa as a preferred partner is that we offer many choices for the landscaper,” said Nichols.

“Symbiot’s landscape network is our largest business unit and is a perfect match for Shindaiwa’s wide array of high quality landscape products,” said Brian Hickey, P3 program manager for Symbiot.
