Toro Announces ASAP Parts Delivery Service
The Toro Company recently announced ASAP (AM Service All Priority) Parts Service, a new delivery service intended to better meet the need of urgent parts deliveries.
“Research tells us customers prefer next day delivery of parts, and AM delivery of an urgently needed part is essential,” says Brad Gates, commercial parts marketing manager at Toro. “We know our distributors already deliver most parts to customers next day. Our goal with ASAP is to offer customers a cost effective and urgent delivery model when parts are needed quickly to keep their equipment performing.”
This new service offers golf and sports fields and grounds customers in the continental United States next day AM delivery at ground UPS rates plus $20. This ensures customers get AM delivery at a cost effective price when they need it. By using the new ASAP delivery service, most customers will save freight costs when compared to next day air at full UPS retail charges. For example, an average six pound shipment to a mid range zone from Toro’s parts warehouse in Plymouth, Wis., will save the customer $16.
There is a 70-pound weight restriction for ASAP service. Next day order requests exceeding 70 pounds will automatically ship next day air at full UPS retail charges. Check with your Toro distributor for details.
