The University of Georgia Department of Horticulture will hold its biennial Open House for Green Industry Professionals at the Horticulture Farm in Watkinsville on Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Faculty will be on hand to discuss a variety of research projects. Participants will also enjoy a barbeque lunch and bus trip to the annual and perennial trial gardens on the UGA campus. This year’s event is limited to 200 persons, so advanced registration is encouraged.
