Video On Managing Penn A And Penn G Bentgrasses Free To Educators
Tee-2-Green recently offered a new informational video, entitled, "Managing the Penn A and Penn G Bentgrasses," free to turfgrass management educators.
"We have always felt it is important to give back to our industry," says Bill Rose, president of Tee-2-Green. "The information in this video will be extremely valuable to educators who teach turfgrass management courses, so we want them to have it at no cost." Interested parties may contact either Vickie Wallace, email@example.com, or Charlotte Flowers, firstname.lastname@example.org, to see if they qualify for a free copy of the video.
The video contains the latest information from Dr. Joe Duich, Professor Emeritus at Penn State University, who is the developer of the Penn A’s and Penn G’s. It also includes insightful comments and practical information from superintendents around the country who currently manage the Penn A’s and Penn G’s on their golf courses.
The program begins with a general overview explaining the benefits that the Penn A and Penn G bentgrasses provide both superintendents and players. It then goes in-depth, addressing various aspects of management in detail beginning with establishment and grow-in, and continuing through interseeding practices, fertilization, irrigation, mowing maintenance, and cultural practices. EPIC Creative Communications – creators of the "The Superintendents Video Workshop" training programs – produced the video for Tee-2-Green. Educators can order their free copy by calling Charlotte Flowers, general manager, Tee-2-Green Corporation at 1-800-547-0255. The video is available to others by calling the Superintendent’s Video Workshop at 800-938-4330. The cost for the video is $95.00 plus shipping and handling.
