Versatile Track System, Loegering, Castleton, N.D.
The Loegering Versatile Track System (VTS) allows you to operate your skid-steer with tires or as a full rubber track undercarriage system depending on your application. This bolt-on, bolt-off rubber tracked undercarriage system for skid-steer loaders bolts directly to the hubs of the machine and requires no machine modifications for most models and conversion takes less than an hour. The Loegering VTS provides the most cost effective operation. Now you can work in terrain that requires a wheeled skid-steer one day, then bolt on your VTS system, and work in terrain that would benefit from a compact track loader the next day. As a result, contractors can decide within an hour of putting a machine to work whether rubber tires or a rubber track undercarriage is best for that particular application. The current design fits over 25 different skid steer models and requires no machine modifications for most machines.
King’s Landscaping in Zionsville, Ind., was one of the first to take advantage of the VTS. “I’m always working in mud and muck,” says company owner Roy King. “Loegering’s VTS does a wonderful job in these conditions. I’d recommend them to anyone.” Contractors are excited about the fact that they can benefit from using either tires or tracks on a single machine.
